Question...

have you found the balance between effort and ease?

I’d love to leave out the standard introductions and skip to the good stuff. Sometimes it’s nice to know where someone lives and what they do. It makes it easier to understand why they do it.

With that - Hi...Darice here.
I'm here to guide you on a journey to manifest radical self love.

I live in what seems like to be the always growing Queen City - Charlotte, North Carolina.

I’m a mom to two crazy, beautiful teenagers whose carpool schedules drive me mad, but who have made me into the person I never thought I would be.

A couple years ago I like to say I woke up. To my emotions. To the deepest parts of my soul. To the knowledge that I could choose how I see this life.

Through some unseen circumstances and traumatic situations, I was shaken awake and found myself somewhere I never imagined.

I sat through some of the ugliest of feelings and allowed myself to simmer in them.

I changed my mindset from I can’t believe that happened, to I'm grateful that it did. It needed to.

I worked through the inner parts of my mind and spirit in so many ways.

For me, the moment my forehead touched the mat in my first ever child’s pose, the healing began.

Some days I was sweating it all out and others, I sat on my mat for hours in whatever shape my body needed me to feel.

Yoga has changed the way i see, feel and respond.

It has changed how I see myself and how I see others.

I see light and full potential in every person- regardless of what they see in me.

I believe we live in a world of suppressed emotions and in order to fight our hardest battles we need to feel them first.

Yoga has grown me into someone I never thought I would lock eyes in the mirror with.

I am proud of the woman I am and the human I’ve become.

And I want the same for every other soul in this world.

Things I Believe to my Core:

Everyone is provided with the same amount of time.
That time has no guarantee.
It is your choice how you utilize your time.

Experiences are more valuable than possessions.

Your life = your story.
You have the power to rewrite your story at any moment.

Everyone is unique.
What works for one person may not work for another.

The best investment you can make is in yourself.

Less technology, more human interaction.
